The paper assesses the effectiveness of the aid for trade (AfT) initiative in Cambodia. It shows that the AfT initiative have been so far effective in terms of expanding Cambodias trade capacities and in supporting the countrys economic reforms. The analysis also shows that there are many challenges that Cambodia needs to tackle to further enhance the effectiveness of the AfT initiative and sustain its efforts to reduce poverty.
